Superior Mechanical Properties: Featured with balanced strength and ductility, the as-normalized carbon steel castings have a tensile strength of ≥600MPa, yield strength of ≥355MPa, and elongation of ≥16%, capable of withstanding static loads, mild dynamic loads and impact forces, avoiding deformation or brittle fracture.

Excellent Machinability: The carbon steel castings have good cutting performance, with low cutting resistance and easy chip removal. After processing, the surface roughness can reach Ra≤1.6μm, which is suitable for subsequent turning, milling, drilling, grinding and other precision processing processes.

Cost-Effective & Easily Accessible: Compared with alloy steel and stainless steel precision castings, carbon steel precision castings have obvious cost advantages, with mature raw material supply chains and stable delivery cycles, making them the preferred choice for large-batch industrial production.

Customizable Heat Treatment: Through quenching, tempering, surface hardening and other heat treatment processes, the hardness and wear resistance of the castings can be adjusted on demand (hardness up to HRC55-60 after quenching and low-temperature tempering), adapting to high-wear and high-strength working conditions.

Advanced Production Process
The carbon steel precision castings are manufactured through strict investment casting (lost wax casting) process, ensuring every detail meets international standards:

Wax Mold Making: Using high-quality low-temperature wax with stable melting point and low shrinkage (linear shrinkage ≤0.8%), the wax mold is made by precision injection molding, with burr ≤0.03mm and accurate dimensional deviation reserved for alloy shrinkage.

Shell Making: Adopting zircon sand and silica sol as core materials, the shell is coated with 3-8 layers (fine sand for surface layer, coarse sand for back layer) to ensure high strength and good air permeability, avoiding casting defects such as air holes and sand inclusions.

Dewaxing & Roasting: The shell is dewaxed with high-pressure steam (dewaxing rate ≥99%) and roasted at 1000-1150℃ for 2-4 hours to remove residual wax and moisture, and improve shell strength.

Melting & Pouring: Using vacuum induction furnace for melting, with real-time composition detection by direct-reading spectrometer to ensure key element deviation ≤0.02% and harmful elements (S, P) controlled within standard range. The pouring temperature is precisely controlled at 1520-1560℃ to ensure good fluidity of molten steel.

Post-Processing: Through sand cleaning, heat treatment, surface sandblasting, pickling and other processes, the castings achieve smooth surface, no defects, and meet the required mechanical properties and dimensional accuracy.
