Precision Cast Steel Cable Protector for Oilfield

This cast steel cable protector is a dedicated protective casting for underground oil and gas extraction. It is manufactured from high-strength carbon steel, 42CrMo alloy steel and other metal materials via mature lost wax investment casting process, integrally formed without welding seams for superior structural integrity.

We fully control every production procedure including wax pattern molding, shell manufacturing, high-temperature baking, vacuum pouring, heat treatment and shot blasting finishing. The casting achieves tight dimensional tolerance with smooth inner cavity, free of internal defects such as air holes, sand holes and shrinkage cavities, ensuring perfect assembly matching. Designed for harsh downhole oilfield working conditions, the protector undergoes quenching and tempering heat treatment to gain outstanding compression resistance, impact resistance and wear resistance. It resists long-term corrosion from downhole mud and oil & gas medium, fully wraps and shields cables to prevent extrusion, friction and collision damage, greatly extending the service life of downhole cables.

Standard positioning mounting holes are reserved to fit various downhole oil tools, well logging instruments and oil extraction pipelines. Full customization service is available: we adjust overall dimensions, wall thickness, hole size and metal materials according to clients’ drawings or samples, with optional surface treatments like shot blasting and anti-rust coating.

Equipped with complete investment casting production lines, we support sample trial production and mass bulk orders. Every product undergoes full inspection of dimension, hardness flaw detection and appearance check before shipment, with material test reports provided.
