Carbon steel castings parts
Carbon steel castings parts are common industrial structural components, widely applied in valves, pumps, machinery, petroleum and chemical industries. We produce low, medium and high carbon steel castings including WCB and 25#/35#/45# cast steel, supporting customized production per customer drawings and industry standards.
Production strictly complies with ASTM A216, GB/T 11352 and ISO 3755 standards. Qualified scrap steel and pig iron are adopted as raw materials, with precise component control: carbon 0.20%–0.50%, silicon 0.20%–0.60%, manganese 0.50%–1.20%, with phosphorus and sulfur strictly limited below 0.04% to avoid casting defects.
The core process includes medium-frequency furnace melting, secondary refining, moulding (resin sand/water glass sand/investment casting), gravity or vacuum pouring, cooling and cleaning. All castings undergo normalizing or annealing heat treatment to eliminate internal stress, refine grains and stabilize mechanical performance. Finishing machining and shot blasting treatment ensure accurate size and smooth surface, with anti-rust treatment for storage and transportation.
Finished products feature stable performance: tensile strength ≥485MPa, yield strength ≥250MPa, elongation ≥18%, hardness 120–180 HB. Full inspections including spectral analysis, mechanical property tests, UT/MT/PT non-destructive testing, dimensional and visual inspection are implemented to eliminate pores, cracks and inclusions, ensuring qualified product quality.
